"Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal- is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he has been robbed. The fact is that most putts don't drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to be just people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, and most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. Life is just like an old time rail journey with delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinder, and jolts, interspersed occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride."---Pres. Gordon B. Hinckley

44 laps and 4 years later................

4 years........... 4 long short years. Time that we have borrowed and sold.. time that we have forgotten and begged for. Time. It was him... he started it all.. lets blame him.. lets thank him....

The quilt looks great! I love the scrappiness of it! I'm thinking of making mine bigger too. How many squares did you end up with? Oh, and you seriously need to get on a plane and come take pictures of my family. You are so talented!

Good news -- the final steps (of the quilt top) are posted on the new blog - http://www.youcanmakethis.com/blog Then we'll move on to the quilting part. :) Thanks for being a part of it!
